PANELS

Panels are typically made of veneer, strands, particles or fibers and bonded with a synthetic or other adhesive cured using heat and pressure.

    Shuttering Plywood

Shuttering plywood is a term that is frequently heard in the construction industry. It is designed to prevent concrete from leaking through the mould and is made the same way as any other plywood or wooden panel, with thin veneers laid on top of each other and cemented together.

    Its standard dimensions are 244cm x 122cm, with thicknesses 12mm, 15mm, and 18mm.

    Plywood

Is a type of strong thin wooden board consisting of two or more layers glued and pressed together with the direction of the grain alternating.

Its standard dimensions are 244cm x 122cm, with thicknesses 2.5mm up to 21mm.

    Blockboard

Blockboard is a type of plywood that is engineered in a special way. It is pressured in such a way that the softwood strips are found between two layers of the wood veneers in the core of the sheet.  This contributes to the dimensional stability of the board. The presence of softwood strips ensures that the board is able to hold nails and screws better than the other engineered boards.

    Its standard dimensions are 244cm x 122cm and 300cm x 122cm, with thicknesses 15mm up to 30mm.

MDF - Medium Density Fiber Board

Is an engineered material made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into fine particles, combining it with wax and a resin binder and applying high temperature and pressure.

    Its standard dimensions are 244cm x 122cm, 280cm x 220cm, and 366cm x 183cm, with thicknesses 2.5mm up to 30mm.

    OSB - Oriented Strand Board

Is a type of engineered wood similar to particle board, formed by adding adhesives and then compressing layers of wood strands (flakes) in specific orientations.

Its standard dimensions are 244cm x 122cm, with thicknesses 8mm up to 21mm

    Chipboard

Particle board, also known as chipboard or low-density fiberboard, is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood chips and a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded.

    Its standard dimensions are 244cm x 122cm, 244cm x 122cm, and 366cm x 183cm, with thicknesses 8mm up to 40mm.

    Melamine Faced Chipboard

Is a composite wood manufactured by mixing small machined wood particles with a strong adhesive (resin). It is pretty effortless to use and makes the surface aesthetically appealing.

    Its standard dimensions are 244cm x 122cm and 366cm x 183cm, with thicknesses 8mm, 18mm, and 21mm.

    Softboard

Softboards are formed with wood fibre and made by pressure compression and temperature during a pressing process. They can be either rigid or flexible.

Its standard dimensions are 244cm x 122cm with 10mm thickness
